SENIOR BAND The senior band do not need to bring their long sleeve and boots on Wednesday but we would like to see you with the FULL BAND UNIFORM on the performance day(Friday) . Do guide our juniors if they ask you for the place to buy their clothings .

Hello! I bet you guys are all tired from the NDP rehearsal right! Haha, nice job everyone, thanks for your effort today(: Please rest well and get ready for the 2nd NDP rehearsal on next friday! Hello Band members! Please note that with effect from today, all Friday practices will commence at 2.00pm instead of the original timing- 1.30pm. This is for the beneficial for those who end class late. Don't worry, band will still end as per normal on Friday.
1 more point. For anyone of you who is unable to attend band/will be late for band practice/have to leave from practice early on any particular day where there is band, please inform your SectionLeaders or any of the 6leaders at least the day before or before the practice starts. Thanks! :D

We hope that there will be a fewer number of latecomers, except for those who have lessons after 1.30pm :D Junior band! Hey band =D
Firstly, let us congratulate ourselves for getting a silver award in the NBC. Maybe some of us would have felt that we did badly because our original aim was for a gold. However, let us not forget that we had only a few practices for preparation of the competition, so let's be more optimistic ya? Just keep in mind that our ultimate aim is the SYF, and let's work hard for it =D
Secondly, please be reminded that band resumes this Wednesday, 14 July at 2.30pm because we need to work for NDP School Parade. Please don't be late and tell the leaders if you are coming late/ not coming. Be accountable to your own attendance =D Call up your friends too =D Also, please pass a copy of your new timetable to the leaders latest by Friday, 16 July.
Lastly, have a good rest!!! I know it's been tough on everyone, banding here and there everyday, but let us persevere on. Rest hard, play hard, BAND hard too!!!

Ha, hello, I bet everyone is tired after the playing today and the time we were dismissed eh. Well, we did our best(I suppose), and got ourselves a Silver award. However, I think, we could still improve on a lot more things and do better for the SYF next year! But for now, we have to concentrate on National Day, we'll be having a one-and-only full dress rehearsal on 23rd of july. I hope you all will be more serious in band and really work hard, ha. Yo (: Anyway, i too supposed that everyone had contributed their best effort for the competition just now . Dont be dishearten or disappoint so much by the result if it did not came out as expected by you . Hmm, at least we're not the last band according to percentage and we're in the average ^^ . I believe that we'll be able to do better in the future competitions and performances if we maintain a better attendance, bonding and discipline . The next major competition would probably be the SYF and lets aim to achieve a Silver or even GOLD ++! Hahas, of cos its possible if we truly commit to band as well as continue to practice our instruments diligently! We'll hope to see a change in everyone's attitudes in the future practices and that our juniors will learn more good than bad things from the seniors . Hello Band! Tomorrow practice starts at 2.30pm sharp, attendance is compulsory. Please make sure you have your full band uniform by tomorrow. Hello band! Okay seriously, National Band Competition is just 8days away from now! That only leaves us with 2 last practice on Wednesday and Friday! Please call up all band members to go for band practices. Also, please treat band practices seriously and for those who have brought their instruments back home, I hope you are at least looking through the 2 pieces and getting all fingerings done. Next practice is on 7th July @ 2.30pm sharp, next Wednesday. Reminder: NO using of handphones during band practices. There will be only a 1-time warning, and afterwhich we see it again, we will confiscate it. I hope to see everyone on the next practice, hehheh. Well, have a blessed Youth Day! :D
