Hello people!
The next band practice is on this friday (2/12/11) from 9am to 1pm. Please be punctual as latecomers will be punished according to the number of times he or she had been late for band practice as well as how late he or she is on that day. Please help to remind your friends who are not here about what we have done today and when is the next band practice.

Hey Guys!The next band practice is on this coming Wednesday (30/11/11) from 9am to 1pm.

Please photocopy the original scores if you have not today and pass it to the librarians on the next practice. The librarians will be checking for the quality of the original scores and are going to collect money for the band fund if they are not returned in proper shape, for example crumpled, torn ,etc.

Also, please be punctual for band practice and those who are late for the second time will not only be punished with push-ups, but also with the collection of money.

The latest updated news regarding the Sec 1 Orientation is that it's from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Please make yourself free. Everyone's effort is appreciated to impress the new sec 1s and have a good intake for next year. :)

Hey Guys!
Do all of you enjoy the camp? Rest enough and all charged up for the coming last three practices?...
Below are some notices for you to take note of:

1) The next practice is this coming monday (28/11/11) from 9am to 3pm. We will be eating lunch outside school at around 11.30am.

2) For those who are not here for the band camp, please pass any of the majors during the next practice your photocopied passport with the stamp on it if you are overseas. For those who are sick, we only accept MCs and NO parent's letter is allowed.

3) Please make sure that you are free on the dates below as these are the additional practices and events:
    Band Practice: 28 december 2011 from 9am to 1pm
    Sec 1 Orientation: 29 december 2011 from 8am to 1pm
    Band Practice: 30 december 2011 from 9am to 1pm
Those who are overseas on the above dates MUST photocopy the page of your passport where the stamp is on it and pass it to us during the next practice. Also, we only accept MC if you are sick on the above dates and NO parent's letter is allowed.

4) Below is the band holiday schedule for those who have not gotten it yet:

Hey guys!
1) The next band practice will be on this coming friday (18/11/11) from 9am to 1pm.
The band holiday practice consent form will be given out to all of you by the next band practice. Also, please bring $10 this coming practice as we will collect it for the fund used in the band camp and also for our band fund. As for the rest of the money that we told you to save up, they will most likely be used in the band tee that we are going to make.
Please don't be late for this coming practice and photocopy the new scores if you have not.
2) The band camp, from 21st to 23rd November packing list is shown below. Please prepare all the necessary items listed below in this 2 week.

Things to bring:


1. 5 sets of clothing (3 sets of school approved attire for morning, 2 sets of pyjamas, bermudas)

2. 3 sets of undergarment.

3. Slippers (used after dinner only)

4. 2 pair of socks.

5. Toiletries (Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush)

6. Towel

7. Water bottle

8. Cup (for storing hot drinks)

9. Insect repellent

10. Sleeping bag

11. Pair of trackpants (optional)

12. Stationeries (Pen/Pencil/Notebook)

13. Jacket/ Sweater (optional)

14. Personal Medication.

15. Spectacle band or rubber band for securing spectacles


Do Not bring:

1. Handphone (the majors will confiscate them at the start of the camp)

2. Electronic devices such as PSP, MP3, Nintendo D.S. etc.

3. Excessive cash (only bring enough for transportation fee).

Hey Guys!
Tomorrow's band practice is cancelled, and the next band practice will be on next thursday, 10/11/11, from 2pm to 6pm.
Consent form for holiday practice will be given out next thursday together with the band holiday practice schedule. Those who need the consent form urgently can approach Miss Johnson for it.
Please don't be late and photocopy all the new scores.
