Tomorrow is our SYF Marching Video!
Report at the bandroom at 3pm with your uniform, marching boots and long socks like on Saturday.
Every band member is included, regardless you are involved in it or not, we're all part of band.
Let's do it well and hopefully we can finish the video tomorrow.
If not.. There's always Tuesday.
Have a good rest tonight, drink lots of water and do well tomorrow. :)

Hey guys, how was the soundcheck tdy?
I'm sure all of you could hear yourself at the hall right, so you know where you have to work harder on and improve.
Mr Sim commmented that it was not bad(!), but we could bring out more of the characters.
Don't be afraid of the stage, just play out, have confidence in yourself!

Sorry for the trouble but the tailors would only come on Saturday during band practice.
Friday is our SYF sound check at the SCH. We will be dismissed from class at 1.35pm, teachers are already informed. Have lunch then report at the bandroom by 2pm (:
- Bring your blazer along! It's to adapt yourself into wearing blazer and to keep you warm.
Remember to sign the 2 forms - Friday's Rehearsal at SCH and the band practices form.
Those who don't have, get it from the band noticebiard or from Alson.

Tomorrow, 4pm @ Needlework roomThose who need band skirt/pants and new blazers, please come to the Needlework room @ 4pm tomorrow. The band skirt and pants costs $25 each, to be paid upon delivery, they are yours to keep. For the blazers, ONLY those who do not have a suitable blazer of your size,
bring your old blazer along tomorrow in order to order a new one.
Please remind each other and come tomorrow to get this done!

For Sec 2s and those who needs band bottoms(skirts/pants):
The tailor will be coming on Tuesday, 25th Jan, come down to the needlework room at 4pm to get your measurements done. The skirt/pants will cost $25 dollars each, to be paid upon delivery of the items (:

Attendance and ROD
HEY Band, nice attendance today and keep up this effort! Please kindly take note that the next practice is this coming Friday (14thJAN), 2PM SHARP. Do not be late. Those who are having HCL please report to the BR by 315PM. Also, please remember to pay $5 to EunJin or Jaslin by this Friday for the Band ROD! Attendance for ROD is compulsory and if you're unable to make it, please tell the Majors by this Friday and only valid reasons will be excused. Further details of the event will be announced to you on Friday itself.Sense of Urgency (IMPORTANT, please read)
For those who are here for practice today, I believe that what Mr Samuel said had really motivated you to work harder and seriously, we really need to buck up with the other schools as we're the only school that starts the set piece this late. Many of you wanted to maintain the silver but given our current standard, will we be able to attained it? It's really the time to work really really hard and hopefully, by this Friday, Mr Samuel will consent us to take part in the Band Exchange programme at the SCH. It's really very beneficial for us to participate in it as it allows us to know the standards of the other Bands and improve on ourselves. Also, this exchange also means that we'll be able to have a sound check as well.
Think about what Mr Samuel said and the achievement of the BAND depend on every one of you. Joining a CCA is not only about CCA Points but also on bringing the CCA to a higher standards and achievements. Have you feel the sense of urgency now? Whether to join the exchange will be depended on whether have you put in your maximum effort every practice. Let's try our very best and we can do it!
