Hi Band (: Excited about the coming concert on September? Hahas, here's the list of the songs that we'll most probably be playing:



A) Please inform your section leaders if you do not have any of the 6 SONGS. Please do take note that everyone is supposed to have all of them by the next rehearsal (25th August). Once the rehearsal starts, the librarians can choose to or not to pass you the scores you request. Do put in your maximum effort to practice the pieces and make the concert a successful one(:

B) Section leaders please collect the S$1.00 from your section members for the Band Fund. For percussion and trumpet sections, please hand in the amount to Deanna and Pamela respectively as your Section Leaders are going on Biology courses(: The Band Fund collected will be used for the Band's ROD and for the Welfare of the Band. For more queries, you may ask the majors.

C) The next Band practice is on next Wednesday, 2.30pm sharp. Those who are going for Guitar/Drum courses, we'll appreciate if you can set up your instruments before you attend the courses. The Band room will be opened at 2.15pm and by 2.30pm, everyone must have their instruments ready for warm-up and rehearsing (: Hope to see better attendance ^^

D) Please take note of the dates of the upcoming band practices:
Friday, 27th of August, there is NO band practice due to the Methodist-Get-Together
Band will resume as per normal: 2.00pm-6.30pm

E) The next Band Committee Meeting will most probably be on next Thursday, 26th August. The venue for the meeting will be confirmed soon and we'll inform every committee members through texts or conversations by next practice. Committee members, please get all your tasks done by 25August as appointed. Thank you for the cooperation :D

F) Here's a piece of Good News for most of you (: The Band has officially opened its first Facebook group now and we're totally welcoming every member to join! Although it is not compulsory , you're encouraged to join for the unity of the Band in the group :D. It will be AWESOME if the group consists of all members! HAHAS! So what is the group for?

Everyone is welcomed to post pictures, videos or even songs on the Wall of the group! However, anything that is posted MUST BE RELATED TO BAND. For example, you can post pictures of your section during break or before and after practices :D . The songs uploaded can be the songs we're playing or even nice pieces that you might wish to share with the Band! Of course, no irrelevant songs besides Band's!
