HEY Band, nice attendance today and keep up this effort! Please kindly take note that the next practice is this coming Friday (14thJAN), 2PM SHARP. Do not be late. Those who are having HCL please report to the BR by 315PM. Also, please remember to pay $5 to EunJin or Jaslin by this Friday for the Band ROD! Attendance for ROD is compulsory and if you're unable to make it, please tell the Majors by this Friday and only valid reasons will be excused. Further details of the event will be announced to you on Friday itself.
Sense of Urgency (IMPORTANT, please read)
For those who are here for practice today, I believe that what Mr Samuel said had really motivated you to work harder and seriously, we really need to buck up with the other schools as we're the only school that starts the set piece this late. Many of you wanted to maintain the silver but given our current standard, will we be able to attained it? It's really the time to work really really hard and hopefully, by this Friday, Mr Samuel will consent us to take part in the Band Exchange programme at the SCH. It's really very beneficial for us to participate in it as it allows us to know the standards of the other Bands and improve on ourselves. Also, this exchange also means that we'll be able to have a sound check as well.
Think about what Mr Samuel said and the achievement of the BAND depend on every one of you. Joining a CCA is not only about CCA Points but also on bringing the CCA to a higher standards and achievements. Have you feel the sense of urgency now? Whether to join the exchange will be depended on whether have you put in your maximum effort every practice. Let's try our very best and we can do it!
